About the position

As the main contact for customers and tenants residing in units, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and fostering great relationships. You will be a valuable part of the property management team, representing the company in a professional manner at all times. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the leasing process, starting from guest card inquiries to move-in, and all aspects in between, to achieve lease-up and occupancy goals. This includes processing applications, completing leases, and managing the move-in process with tenants. In addition, you will perform all activities related to the lease renewal process, aiming to obtain a 70% resident retention rate among all properties. It is essential to respond promptly to all tenant inquiries and follow up to ensure tenant satisfaction. You will also be responsible for advertising and maintaining marketing efforts to ensure that units are fully occupied. All processes must be documented and recorded in property management software, specifically AppFolio, to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in current computer programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience with property management software such as AppFolio, Paylocity, Canva, YouTube, Hub by Amazon, and Managed Wi-Fi.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service work experience is required.
  • Leasing experience in property management is preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Effective organization and prioritization of tasks is required.
