About the position

The Leasing Agent position involves working at various luxury apartment communities in Fresno and Clovis, CA, for a locally based management company. The role focuses on leasing apartments, generating leads, conducting tours, processing applications, and providing excellent customer service to residents. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple locations and includes a commission-based compensation structure.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads by phone or email.
• Make appointments and conduct tours for prospective residents.
• Process applications and prepare lease agreements and move-in paperwork.
• Explain agreements, rules, and documents to new residents at move-in.
• Collect, process, and deposit rent payments.
• Serve all appropriate notices to residents.
• Generate various reports related to leasing activities.
• Provide excellent and attentive customer service to existing residents.
• Resolve resident complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in apartment/multi-family housing management or leasing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Sales and customer service skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and property management software, preferably Yardi Voyager.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RentCafe, Site Manager, and RentMax property management systems is preferred but not required.
