About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants. This role requires strong customer service skills, an understanding of property leasing, and the ability to effectively negotiate terms while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property showings and open houses to prospective tenants.
• Assist clients in completing rental applications and lease agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions using property management software.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering positive relationships with current and prospective tenants.
• Upsell available properties and amenities to maximize occupancy rates.
• Stay informed about local housing laws, including Section 8 regulations, to ensure compliance in all leasing activities.
• Collaborate with the administrative team to manage files related to tenant applications, leases, and renewals.
• Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants while ensuring company policies are upheld.
• Run miscellaneous errands.
