About the position

The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing and leasing apartments at a new property near downtown Houston. This role involves providing excellent resident services, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving occupancy and income goals through effective sales strategies and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer service relationships with residents and vendors.
• Greet prospective residents and show model and market-ready units.
• Lease apartments and sell the amenities, products, and services of the property to prospects.
• Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls, and conduct property tours.
• Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic and maintain closing ratios.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition.
• Collect deposits and/or fees associated with move-in.
• Inspect units quarterly and prior to move-in.
• Assist with planning and hosting resident events.
• Assist residents with the move-out process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in sales, leasing, or property management required.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Realpage Onesite is a bonus.
• Experience in hospitality or front desk roles.
