About the position

The Leasing Agent at DTN Management plays a crucial role in enhancing the experience of potential residents and the community. This position involves generating and managing leads for new leases, fostering positive relationships with residents and community members, and contributing to the overall success of the property by meeting leasing goals. The Leasing Agent serves as a brand ambassador for DTN, ensuring that all interactions reflect the company's values and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Generate, manage and close leads for new leases
• Maintain positive and professional relations with employees, future residents, community members, and current residents
• Work collaboratively with the team to exceed property goals
• Assist in planning and hosting resident events
• Utilize technology and operating software to manage leads and resident needs
• Create and present leases to future residents and renewals
• Enter work orders and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned based on site needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Well organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Experience with or ability to learn technology and operating software used at DTN communities
• Experience with or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites
• Strong people skills to educate and support residents
• Motivated to learn and improve
• Collaborative mindset and a can-do attitude
• Attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Reliable transportation for daily job responsibilities

Nice-to-haves
