About the position

The Leasing Agent position is a part-time role focused on securing lease agreements and marketing properties effectively. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess strong sales skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends. This role involves direct interaction with prospective residents and requires a proactive approach to achieving leasing and occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

• Greets prospective residents.
• Completes guest card information.
• Determines needs and preferences of potential residents.
• Conducts showing tours of the apartments while communicating features and benefits and secures applications from qualified persons.
• Prepares and qualifies applications to present to the Manager for approval.
• Assists in creating and implementing a plan for marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction.
• Aggressively markets the property through multiple media platforms, including telephone, text, email, and social media.
• Performs follow-up with prospects per company guidelines.
• Answers office phones when in the office.
• Performs any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent social media knowledge, including creating content and building interest in the business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Yardi Breeze preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

• Some college education is a plus.
• 1 to 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of leasing or related field experience preferred.
