About the position

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Leasing Agent with exceptional attention to detail and outstanding customer service skills for the 384-unit apartment community of Timberridge and Somerset Place Apartment Homes, located in Albany, OR. This beautiful, Class-A apartment community features amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool and spa, athletic court, fitness center, picnic area, and community clubhouse. The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in all aspects of apartment leasing, which includes answering phone calls, greeting and assisting residents, conducting tours for prospective tenants, maintaining the community's curb appeal, marketing available units, and accurately preparing leases and other necessary documents. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the dynamic field of property management. The Leasing Agent will work full-time, with a schedule from Thursday to Monday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. In addition to the hourly wage of $18-$22, the position includes a monthly $25 cell phone stipend and eligibility for bonuses. Benefits for the Leasing Agent will commence on the first of the month following 30 days of employment, ensuring that employees are well-covered with Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, as well as Employer-paid Life Insurance and options for Employee Paid Voluntary Insurance. Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and greet residents and prospects.
  • Conduct tours of the apartment community for potential tenants.
  • Maintain the curb appeal of the property.
  • Market available units effectively.
  • Prepare leases and other necessary documents accurately.
  • Assist residents with inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to landlord/tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations.

Requirements

  • One year of previous customer service experience is required.
  • One year of previous property management, sales, or leasing agent experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of MS365 including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, motivation, and high energy.
  • Awareness of and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, and safety protocols.
  • Possess a current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in property management or leasing is preferred.
