About the position

The Leasing Consultant position at Newport Pacific Capital involves managing the leasing process for a multi-unit apartment community and mini storage facility. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, conducting property tours, and ensuring efficient leasing operations under the supervision of the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, prospective renters, and current residents.
• Build rapport with current and potential residents by providing personalized service.
• Provide potential residents with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
• Follow up on leads for potential residents.
• Collect application documents and ensure proper screening of prospective residents.
• Prepare and present leases and other residency documents for signing.
• Assist with recordkeeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
• Track market movements, competitor rates, and consumer insights to refine rental pricing and promotional offers.
• Create, develop, and maintain a list of promotions and discounts to attract renters.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Sales and marketing experience in multifamily housing.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with Rent Manager software.

Benefits

• Compensation of $17-$18 per hour, dependent on experience.
