About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Agent to join our team in Lakewood, CO. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in the success of our property management by assisting potential tenants through the leasing process. If you have a proven track record in leasing, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset, we want to hear from you. In this position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, conducting property tours, and effectively communicating the features and benefits of the community. You will also process rental applications, negotiate lease terms, and prepare lease agreements in accordance with company policies. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and assist with the preparation of leasing reports as required. You will have the opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and utilize various marketing channels to promote available properties.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, answering inquiries, and assisting with the leasing process.
• Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the features and benefits of the community.
• Process rental applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with potential tenants.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Leasing Agent on at least one site is required.
• Strong knowledge of leasing practices and property management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Prior experience in leasing and property management is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
