About the position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for managing leasing activities on behalf of property owners, focusing on identifying market opportunities and securing tenants. This role involves presenting properties to prospective clients, assisting landlords in tenant discovery, and promoting unoccupied properties through various advertising techniques. The Leasing Consultant will also evaluate client requirements, negotiate leasing terms, and ensure properties are well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Present apartments to prospective clients in a persuasive manner
• Assist residential landlords in discovering suitable tenants
• Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques
• Evaluate clients' requirements and financial prosperity to make personalized presentations
• Provide accurate information on the different features of properties
• Validate application information and references
• Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements
• Keep abreast of the property market status
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically
• Assist with other areas of business demands as needed

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a leasing consultant
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Proven track record of successful sales
• Experience in Yardi and Rent Café
• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques
• Customer-focused approach
• Ability to multi-task

Nice-to-haves

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in Yardi (Preferred)
