About the position

We are seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to join our growing Property Management Team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a great home for future residents. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred, particularly those fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist in actively implementing aggressive marketing techniques in conjunction with the property team.
• Conduct tours, diligently pursue the close of each sale, perform follow-ups, and complete leasing paperwork with prospective tenants as needed.
• Assist properties in achieving an overall closing ratio of 30% and a 75% closing ratio of walk-in traffic.
• Participate in and conduct market competition surveys.
• Understand and be able to explain the lease and supporting documents in their entirety.
• Continually evaluate the marketing plan and budget based on preleasing velocity and feedback to make improvements or adjustments.
• Monitor and advise on rate and leasing specials based on tour velocity and conversion.
• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with prospects, residents, parents, and vendors.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws including OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing.
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by the management team.

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience in leasing, hospitality, or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of the market competition and local businesses.
• Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with residents, co-workers, and senior management.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
• Experience with OneSite (Preferred)
