About the position

The Leasing Agent will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process for a premier residential real estate investment firm. This position focuses on providing exceptional customer service, conducting property tours, and building relationships with potential tenants to ensure a smooth leasing experience. The ideal candidate will be motivated, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for real estate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting the features and benefits of each property.
• Assist in managing the entire leasing process, including application processing, lease negotiations, and lease signing.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants, including online listings, social media, and community outreach.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including applications, leases, and correspondence with tenants.
• Stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings to ensure competitive pricing and attractive property features.
• Ensure all leasing activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, or real estate is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in property management software Appfolio and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of leasing principles, local market trends, and relevant regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Real Estate License is preferred but not required.
