About the position

The Leasing Agent at Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is responsible for leasing units to qualified prospects and ensuring resident satisfaction. This role involves generating traffic for the property, managing inquiries from potential residents, and assisting with lease preparations and compliance. The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining the property’s reputation and enhancing client investments through quality service.

Responsibilities

• Leasing units to qualified prospects.
• Generating traffic for the property by working with local employers and locators, contacting current residents for referrals, completing market surveys, and shopping other properties.
• Greeting, qualifying, and closing prospects by taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and showing units or models.
• Verifying applications and preparing lease packets for move-ins.
• Keeping current residents satisfied by managing maintenance requests and planning social activities.
• Assisting Property and Assistant Manager in collections, delinquency, and inspecting units for readiness.
• Periodically auditing leases to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Two years of leasing experience in the multifamily industry.
• Solid sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Active listening skills and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong computer skills.
