About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Leasing Agent to join our team at Metric Property Management in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and sales, with knowledge of property management software. This role involves conducting property tours, processing lease applications, maintaining tenant records, and assisting with rent collection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide information on available units.
• Process lease applications and assist with lease renewals.
• Maintain accurate records of prospective and current tenants.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, conducting property inspections as needed.
• Assist in the collection of rent payments and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 5 years of customer service experience.
• 3 years of sales experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driver's License required.
• 1 year of legal administrative experience.
• 2 years of data entry experience.
• 4 years of property management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing contracts.
• Experience with property management software like AppFolio, Asana, Zillow.
