About the position

The Leasing Agent at Epic Asset Management is responsible for showing and leasing apartments to prospective residents, ensuring exceptional service during peak times, including weekends. This role involves direct interaction with potential tenants, conducting interviews to assess their needs, and managing the leasing process from showing properties to completing lease agreements.

Responsibilities

• Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
• Accompanies prospects to vacant/model apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available amenities, such as swimming pool and saunas, location of shopping centers, services available, and terms of lease.
• Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
• Inspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance.
• Compiles listings of available rental property.
• Composes and posts vacancy advertisements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of related experience or training.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and Yardi.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Nice-to-haves
