About the position

We are a fast-growing Apartment Management Company seeking a highly motivated Sales and Leasing Agent who is excited about the opportunity to lease apartments. This position does not require prior leasing experience, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their careers in property management. The ideal candidate will be a sales-driven go-getter, self-motivated, and capable of providing superior customer service to ensure apartments are leased to qualifying residents. As a Sales and Leasing Agent, you will perform all sales and leasing activities necessary to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals. This includes qualifying prospects, conducting community tours, showing apartments, processing applications, performing credit screenings, and conducting criminal background checks. You will also prepare lease and move-in packages, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents during the move-in and lease signing process. In addition to leasing activities, you will design and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic to the community. This includes implementing resident referral programs, employer outreach initiatives, and utilizing internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email. Following up with prospects and new residents is crucial to ensure satisfaction, which may involve sending emails, thank-you notes, and making phone calls to finalize leasing decisions or renewals. You will also support the community's lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely signing of lease renewal documents.
