About the position

S2 Residential is seeking a dedicated Leasing Agent to join our team at 2934 Alouette Drive, Grand Prairie, TX. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals in finding their ideal apartment while ensuring that their experience aligns with S2 Residential's mission and core values. You will be the first point of contact for potential residents, greeting them warmly, showcasing our community, and converting prospects into satisfied residents. As a Leasing Agent, you will engage with prospects by conducting tours, answering questions, and closing leases. You will also contribute to the management team by providing insights on marketing strategies and enhancing resident satisfaction. Your role will involve processing applications, verifying income and employment, and managing compliance with fair housing regulations. Additionally, you will participate in resident events and maintain the cleanliness of the property and model apartments. To succeed in this position, you must possess a positive attitude, outstanding customer service skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with your team. You will be expected to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet the needs of our residents and the property. Your commitment to detail and organization will be essential in ensuring a seamless leasing process and a welcoming environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and present the community to potential residents.
• Capture leases and convert prospects to residents.
• Contribute ideas to the management team on marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction.
• Process income, rental, and employment to verify qualification standards.
• Perform outreach and online marketing to attract potential residents.
• Engage and participate in resident events to foster community.
• Manage fair housing, regulatory, and compliance-related services.
• Walk the property and maintain cleanliness in the office and model apartments.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Leasing Agent in a multifamily setting or 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to listen and understand resident goals.
• Creative and innovative thinking skills.
• Knowledge of ResMan is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
