About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Leasing Agent to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing operations, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants while maintaining high standards of service. This position requires strong administrative skills, a knack for sales, and the ability to handle various aspects of property management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting features and amenities.
• Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other relevant documents using property management software such as Yardi or similar systems.
• Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating effective conflict management skills.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations, including LIHTC guidelines.
• Assist in marketing efforts to promote available properties through various channels.
• Perform administrative tasks related to leasing activities, including filing and maintaining organized records.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance requests and ensure timely follow-up with tenants regarding their concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in conflict management and customer service skills to effectively address tenant issues.
• Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable.
• Sales experience is beneficial for effectively promoting properties and closing leases.
