Your responsibilities will include interviewing participants for recertifications, explaining housing program obligations, and verifying information on the reexamination and recertification forms to determine the continued eligibility of participants. You will conduct briefing sessions and provide counseling to participants regarding their family obligations, ensuring they understand the requirements of the program. In addition to participant interactions, you will negotiate repayment agreements that require approval from the Director of Assisted Housing. You will also be responsible for issuing Housing Choice Vouchers to applicants and families who are requesting to move or need adjustments in their housing situation. Your clerical duties will involve answering phones, typing, filing, and mailing correspondence. You will prepare monthly reports to keep your supervisor informed of your caseload status and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.
