The Leasing Agent position at Legacy Investment Holdings involves working closely with property owners to find suitable lessors while determining their needs and economic feasibility. The role includes marketing properties through various channels, setting up showings, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining resident files, responding to inquiries, and attending move-in inspections, all while adhering to office standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify all rental applications and personal references are true and accurate
• Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing
• Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties
• Arrange for any required maintenance and periodically inspect properties to ensure our level of company standards are being upheld
• Work with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits in order to close the deal

Requirements

• A proven record of sales experience and success
• Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations
• Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
