About the position

We are seeking an energetic Leasing Agent to join our team in Topeka, KS. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for exploring the market to identify opportunities and secure tenants for our properties. This role involves presenting properties to prospective clients, assisting landlords in finding tenants, and promoting unoccupied properties through various advertising techniques.

Responsibilities

• Present apartments, houses, or other properties to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
• Assist residential landlords in discovering tenants.
• Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques.
• Provide accurate information on the different features of properties.
• Validate application information and references.
• Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements.
• Keep abreast of the property market status.
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a leasing consultant.
• Good knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Proven track record of successful sales.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills.
• Well-versed in marketing and sales techniques.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Driver's License (Required).
• 2 years of customer service experience (Required).
• 2 years of property leasing experience (Required).
