About the position

The Leasing Agent, also referred to as Leasing Concierge, is responsible for managing the leasing process and providing resident services at the community. This role serves as the primary point of contact for potential renters, guiding them through the features and benefits of the community while converting qualified prospects into tenants. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and aims to create a welcoming environment for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide potential renters through the leasing process.
• Convert qualified prospects into tenants by showcasing community features.
• Generate leads and successfully close sales.
• Ensure all advertising sources reflect accurate information.
• Manage all social media platforms related to leasing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Organize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communicate positively with customers and employees.
• Maintain accurate records of occupancy, rental rates, and lease expirations.
• Respond to calls and emails in a timely manner, coordinating with management and maintenance teams.
• Attend daily Huddle meetings and follow Denizen Management Policies & Procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of sales or leasing experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Background and drug screening mandatory prior to employment.

Nice-to-haves

• NALP designation preferred.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial.
