The Leasing Agent at Dream Spots plays a crucial role in connecting prospective tenants with suitable rental properties in Chicago. This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, showcasing available properties, and guiding applicants through the leasing process, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, scheduling property viewings, and addressing potential tenants' questions and concerns.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Dream Spots' available properties, including their features, amenities, and pricing, to effectively market and match properties to prospective tenants.
• Conduct property showings, providing tours and detailed information about the properties to prospective tenants.
• Assist applicants in completing lease applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified, and guide them through the leasing process.
• Skillfully negotiate lease terms, rent pricing, and any additional clauses to close lease agreements beneficial to both the tenant and Dream Spots.
• Stay updated on Chicago's real estate market trends, rental rates, and competition to make data-driven recommendations to prospective tenants.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions, lease agreements, and tenant information in our systems.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies throughout the leasing process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in real estate or leasing is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and real estate market trends.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
