About the position

The Travel Leasing Compliance Specialist role at Fairway Management Inc involves overseeing the leasing and move-in processes for new construction communities across multiple states. This position requires 100% overnight travel, where the specialist will manage leasing activities, marketing, and compliance to achieve 100% occupancy within set timeframes. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and effective communication with clients and community members.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified traffic by documenting all inquiries and denials.
  • Plan and implement marketing events.
  • Utilize social media and other online sources for marketing.
  • Visit competitive properties and prepare associated competition reports.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, investors, community leaders, and employees.
  • Manage required application paperwork and compliance processes.
  • Take applications and collect required documentation.
  • Submit and review applicant credit/criminal screening.
  • Process applications to achieve high approval percentages through compliance partner.
  • Prepare and implement timely move-in processes.
  • Ensure resident applications are processed in a timely manner according to company policy.
  • Review and prepare for approval new/existing resident applications/certifications.
  • Maintain excellent client relations by working directly with site staff as needed.
  • Review supporting financial documentation in files.
  • Identify irregularities in case documents and communicate them to supervisors.
  • Follow up and multitask to complete approval of files within tight deadlines.
  • Adhere to defined procedures, guidelines, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task at a high level.
  • Ability to develop effective solutions to problems or situations.
  • Effective communication via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone.
  • Proficient understanding of the English language with accurate grammar and punctuation usage.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment with a sense of urgency.
  • 1+ years of leasing, property management, hospitality, and/or retail experience.
