About the position

The Leasing Consultant at Indigo Real Estate plays a crucial role in managing apartment rentals and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires a highly organized and energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations. The consultant will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to leasing, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals while fostering a sense of community among residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Provide intensive, professional customer service to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention.
• Maintain a welcoming and helpful presence for all current and prospective residents and customers.
• Respond professionally to walk-in, telephone, and e-mail inquiries.
• Guide scheduled and unscheduled tours of the property.
• Prepare lease and lease renewal documentation.
• Assist in coordinating resident/community events and gatherings.
• Assist in coordinating resident/community maintenance service requests.
• Record required data accurately using Yardi Property Management software.
• Prepare and generate documents and reports, managing routine processes and correspondence.
• Collaborate to support property marketing strategies consistent with established procedures.
• Assist in coordinating and updating advertisements and listings, especially via third-party Independent Listing Services (ILS).
• Provide general administrative support for the Community Director and other duties as assigned.
• Ensure timely and accurate recordkeeping for property compliance according to affordable-housing standards.
