About the position
The Leasing Consultant at Dayrise Residential plays a crucial role in the leasing office, focusing on providing exceptional customer service and effectively leasing vacant apartments. This position involves managing resident feedback and ensuring a positive living experience for residents. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for presenting the community to prospective residents and maintaining strong relationships with current residents.
Responsibilities
- Touring and presenting the community to prospective residents.
- Managing the leasing and renewal process from start to finish.
- Maintaining knowledge of the local market.
- Inspecting vacant apartment homes to ensure readiness for new residents.
- Planning and coordinating resident functions throughout the year.
- Building strong working relationships with residents through outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-3 years of experience in Property Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, and resident relations.
- Experience in MS Office Word/Excel and basic computer technology skills; OneSite experience preferred.
