About the position
The Leasing Consultant at Wesley Apartment Homes serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, aiming to achieve maximum occupancy in the community. This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and actively converting prospects into residents while maintaining a positive community image.
Responsibilities
- Connect with people through phone calls, appointments, and follow-up communication to enhance the customer experience.
- Act as the first impression for all prospective and current residents in the community.
- Convert prospects into active residents through effective communication and engagement.
- Respond to telephone and internet inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in planning and implementing community marketing strategies to generate traffic.
- Conduct market surveys and monitor competitor rates, visiting competitors' communities as needed.
- Address concerns and complaints from residents sensitively.
Requirements
- Strong sales experience is required.
- Customer service orientation is essential.
- Leasing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including at least 2 weekends per month is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
