About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with residents while effectively managing leasing operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Assist potential residents in completing rental applications and ensure all necessary documentation is submitted.
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends and property features to effectively communicate benefits to potential renters.
• Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track leads and follow up with prospective tenants.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
• Handle conflict management and resolve tenant concerns in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with facilities management to address maintenance requests and ensure property upkeep.
• Perform data entry tasks related to leasing agreements, tenant records, and other administrative duties.
• Maintain organized files for all leasing documents, including applications and contracts.
• Assist with Section 8 housing processes as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in OneSite or similar property management software is preferred.
• Strong background in customer relationship management and sales techniques.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes related to leasing.
• Excellent conflict management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Experience in facilities management is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
