About the position
The Leasing Consultant at Stepping Stone Homes is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing leasing inquiries for prospective tenants. This role involves marketing campaign development, conducting property tours, processing applications, and ensuring a positive experience for potential residents. Responsibilities
- Receive and qualify all leasing inquiries.
- Update marketing, advertising, and social media outlets as directed.
- Inspect available market-ready units, take photos, and list on marketing sites.
- Tour applicants, demonstrating community features and benefits.
- Have prospects complete applications and secure deposits according to company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
- Update availability reports and process applications for approvals.
- Ensure apartments are ready for resident move-in on agreed dates.
- Monitor advertising effectiveness and stay informed about market competition.
- Type leases and complete paperwork accurately and timely in Buildium.
- Assist management with various tasks as required.
- Maintain open communication with Property Manager and Maintenance Manager.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community.
- Assist in planning and hosting resident functions.
- Participate in outreach marketing activities regularly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience in multi-family residential management, marketing/social media management, sales, or hospitality services.
