About the position

JWilliams Staffing, the nation's largest search firm dedicated to real estate, is seeking a Bi-Lingual Spanish Apartment Leasing Manager for a leading property management and development company based in Los Angeles. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $28 to $36 per hour and provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leasing and property management, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients and tenants alike. As a Leasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in the leasing process, which includes conducting showings of apartment units throughout Los Angeles as vacancies arise. You will be responsible for driving to various locations, setting schedules, and preparing daily reports. Your responsibilities will also include developing and managing leasing activities, establishing leasing policies and procedures, and identifying market needs and trends. You will be expected to maintain a positive public image for the company while overseeing the maintenance and repair of existing properties. In addition to leasing responsibilities, you will be involved in sales and marketing efforts, overseeing record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with all leasing and property management programs for both new and renewal tenants. This role requires a proactive approach to screening applicants, conducting credit and background checks, and managing tenant move-ins and move-outs. You will also be responsible for creating operating budgets, responding to tenant complaints, and collaborating with engineers, contractors, and vendors to fulfill various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct showings of apartment units throughout Los Angeles as vacancies arise.
  • Drive to various locations and set schedules for property tours.
  • Develop and manage leasing activities, including leasing policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Identify market needs and trends to inform leasing strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and recruit leasing personnel.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants.
  • Establish and maintain a positive image with the public.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of existing properties.
  • Manage marketing, leasing, and management of commercial properties.
  • Screen applicants for credit and background, conducting necessary checks.
  • Conduct property tours, negotiate leases, and oversee tenant move-in or move-out processes.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and review and approve work orders.
  • Create operating budgets and respond to tenant complaints.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to fulfill projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' proven experience in property management, real estate sales, or leasing.
  • Experience in luxury housing, affordable housing, property management, leasing agent, multi-family housing, or senior living is acceptable.
  • Thorough knowledge of property management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Experience with Appfolio is a plus.
