About the position
As a Leasing Manager at BH Management Services, you will oversee the entire leasing function and daily operations of the community. This role involves supervising, training, and motivating leasing consultants, collaborating with the property team to ensure effective marketing and financial operations, and participating in all leasing functions to meet occupancy goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire leasing function and daily leasing operations for the community.
- Supervise, train, and motivate leasing consultants.
- Assist the Community Manager in selecting new leasing team members.
- Collaborate with the property team to ensure successful marketing, leasing, and financial operations.
- Assist the on-site team in marketing units and addressing leasing problems.
- Generate new business contacts and marketing ideas to increase occupancy.
- Participate in all leasing functions, including touring prospective residents and preparing lease paperwork.
- Review and approve all lease files and lease renewals.
Requirements
- Three (3+) years of multi-family leasing experience.
- Previous Leasing Manager experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated customer service mindset.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and MS Office (Word/Excel).
- Strong computer technology skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication and presentation skills.
