About the position

The Leasing & Marketing Manager at The Scion Group plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving sales within student living communities. This position focuses on implementing customer-centric initiatives, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies while managing property administration and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching for Experience Team Member staff performance.
  • Assist the General Manager with training and compliance of onsite staff with Fair Housing and safety policies.
  • Plan and execute successful annual Turnover processes.
  • Assist with move-in and move-out processes.
  • Inspect and report on property curb appeal and overall appearance of the building and amenities.
  • Coordinate work orders to ensure timely responses and high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor resident feedback regarding facilities and maintenance needs.
  • Assist with customer sales interactions and direct team members in alignment with company standards.
  • Utilize KPIs to report on trends and proactively address issues.
  • Perform weekly market surveys to identify local marketing opportunities.
  • Oversee on-campus and in-person marketing events.
  • Execute social media and communication strategies to engage customers.
  • Manage promotional material and property incentives within budget.

Requirements

  • College graduate preferred with a minimum of two years of customer service, sales, or community management experience.
  • Ability to work up to six days per week for management coverage.
  • Strong commitment to a diverse working and living environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Property Management Systems.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
