About the position

The Leasing & Resident Associate at Corvias is responsible for initial sales and customer account management, focusing on achieving revenue, occupancy, retention, and resident satisfaction targets. This role involves building relationships with residents, managing move-in and move-out processes, and ensuring compliance with community policies while promoting a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively convey the benefits of residing in the Corvias community by maintaining in-depth knowledge of products and market conditions.
  • Achieve revenue goals by demonstrating the value of community features and closing sales while adhering to company policies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents by responding to concerns and requests promptly.
  • Perform resident move-in, move-out, and eviction processes, including inspections and paperwork.
  • Conduct basic accounting and collections activities, maintaining tenant ledgers for lease agreements.
  • Monitor resident compliance with community policies and educate residents as needed.
  • Ensure residents receive timely information about community events and programs.
  • Achieve retention goals by informing residents about lease renewal options and executing the renewal process.
  • Project a positive image of the community by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and available units.
  • Process applications for residency and prepare lease agreements and occupancy-related paperwork.
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phones and data entry.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior work experience in sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate customer leads and retain customers through account renewals.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a close ratio at or above industry average while maximizing revenue.
  • Ability to learn and comply with legal and contractual requirements, preferably with experience in collections or evictions.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints using independent judgment.
  • Ability to organize activities and manage time efficiently to meet commitments.
  • Ability to professionally interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer proficiency, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work weekend and evening hours.
