About the position

The Leasing / Sales Consultant at Greystar is responsible for executing marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals at a senior living community. This role involves engaging with prospective residents, conducting property tours, processing applications, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience while maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the property's revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours, and show apartment homes.
  • Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensuring a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
  • Collect pertinent information from prospective residents at move-in and record appropriately.
  • Update the market survey to stay informed about current market and competitor conditions.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
  • Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic to the property.
  • Use property management software (Entrata, Yardi, etc.) to track apartment availability and manage resident data.
  • Ensure the property and show units meet company standards for show quality.
  • Execute activities in support of the property's lease renewal program.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions.
  • Attend community and networking events to drive traffic and generate new business leads.
  • Utilize current CRM to maintain an accurate prospect database and assist with follow-up contacts.

Requirements

  • Experience in leasing or sales, preferably in real estate or property management.
  • Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi or Entrata.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with residents and prospects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing strategies and community outreach programs.
  • Knowledge of local real estate market trends.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and prospect follow-up processes.
