About the position

The Leasing Specialist at Peak Living plays a crucial role in supporting community operations under the direction of the Community Manager. This position focuses on customer service and leasing responsibilities, ensuring that prospective residents receive a positive experience while navigating the leasing process.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in fulfilling customer service and leasing responsibilities.
• Uphold leasing and marketing standards including telephone marketing and greeting prospective residents.
• Gather prospect information, set appointments, and show ready and model apartments.
• Generate quotes, close deals, and secure deposits from prospective residents.
• Assist prospective residents with rental application completion and credit verification.
• Prepare all paperwork specific to new and renewal lease agreements.
• Insert lease renewal rates as approved by the Community Manager and assist in delivering renewal letters.
• Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed.
• Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances and implement procedures for collecting on delinquencies.
• Assist the Community Manager in organizing community resident activities and preparing newsletters.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality, or a similar industry is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
