About the position

The Leasing Specialist for Central Island Square Apartments in Charleston, SC, is responsible for leasing apartment homes in a competitive market while providing exceptional after-sales service to existing residents. This role involves a variety of tasks including leasing, resident engagement, event planning, social media management, marketing outreach, and customer service. The position offers a competitive hourly rate plus commission, bonuses, and a 20% rent discount, along with health benefits and paid training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pursue leads to lease as many apartments as possible.
• Create and conduct monthly events for residents.
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospects.
• Understand and articulate the value of the apartments being leased.
• Build and manage relationships with prospects and residents.
• Collaborate with the team to meet the unique needs of prospects and residents.

Requirements

• Ability to sell at a high market rate.
• Previous leasing experience preferred, including social media marketing and event planning.
• Hospitality, sales, or customer service experience considered.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivation and drive.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with prospects and residents.
