About the position

The Leave/Workers Comp Specialist at Buncombe County Schools is responsible for managing and overseeing employee leave and workers' compensation claims. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement leave policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in human resources or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of leave management and workers' compensation regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in human resources or related field is a plus.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
