The Program in Comparative Literature and Translation Studies at Barnard College is seeking a full-time lecturer with expertise in narrative forms of literature, particularly the novel. The ideal candidate will have a comparative, transnational, and interdisciplinary approach, capable of teaching across various languages and cultures while addressing translation and adaptation processes. The lecturer will engage in teaching required courses, design electives, and participate in the First-Year Seminar Program, alongside advising students in the major and senior thesis writers.
