Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in early childhood education, anti-racist or critical multicultural education, inclusive/special education, or a closely related field (must be completed within six months of hire).
• Demonstrated teaching experience in early childhood settings (birth through grade two).
• Teacher certification in early childhood education or a related field (or willingness to attain).
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others, appreciating cultural and group differences.

Nice-to-haves

• Three or more years of teaching experience in birth through grade two settings.
• College teaching and advising experience.
• Additional teaching certifications in Special Education, TESOL, ESOL, Bilingual, Literacy, or General Education.
• Additional study in inclusive education, anti-racist pedagogy, or related fields.
• Evidence of collaboration with organizations serving minoritized communities.
