About the position

The Department of Business Management at North Carolina State University is seeking applications for a Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer in the Operations and Supply Chain Management area. The specific courses to be taught may include operations modeling, supply management, logistics, supply chain analytics, decision analytics, or operations strategy, depending on the hiring needs for the academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department, college, and university, fostering an innovative and collaborative intellectual environment that promotes learning, scholarship, and service. The Poole College of Management emphasizes data analytics in its curriculum, and faculty members are encouraged to engage with industry and academia to enhance the educational experience for students. This position is part-time and may be renewed based on departmental needs. Candidates will be evaluated on their teaching ability, commitment to student success, and overall contributions to the department and university community. Responsibilities

  • Teach 1-3 courses in Operations & Supply Chain Management for BSBA and MBA programs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Operations Management, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent in the appropriate field.
  • Experience teaching at the college level.
