About the position

The Legal Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary will support the legal team by performing various clerical and administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the office. This role is crucial for ensuring effective communication, organization, and management of legal documents and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Plan and schedule appointments and court hearings
  • Greet and assist onsite clients
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Implement organized filing systems
  • Manage office supplies and vendors
  • Perform all other office tasks

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self motivated
  • Driver's license
  • Computer and technologically savvy
  • Four year degree
  • 2 years of experience in planning and scheduling appointments and court hearings (Required)
  • 2 years of legal administrative experience (Preferred)
