Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare correspondence for attorneys and paralegals.
  • E-file legal documents and manage court filings.
  • Manage calendars and schedule appointments for legal staff.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and analysts.
  • Utilize legal terminology and citations in firm documents.
  • Maintain organized files and records for legal cases.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; three years of related experience.
  • ALS, PLS, or CPS certification or a paralegal certificate may substitute for experience.
  • An Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Basic knowledge of legal terminology and court filing requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in using a redlining tool for document revisions.
  • Working knowledge of basic office functions.
