About the position

MacMain Leinhauser PC, a small and well-established law firm located in West Chester, PA, is seeking a dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $24, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the firm. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. The Legal Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative duties, including preparing legal documents and correspondence, interacting with clients on a daily basis, and operating various office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining office inventory and supplies, ensuring the accuracy of correspondence, and understanding the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts in both paper and electronic formats. Additionally, the role involves opening, organizing, and maintaining legal files, as well as scheduling the calendars of attorneys, which includes arranging meetings, conferences, tele-conferences, depositions, court appointments, and hearings. Another key responsibility will be recording attorney time and preparing client invoices, while maintaining client confidentiality by keeping attorney/client information privileged. The assistant will also monitor communications placed on the firm's website and update the website as necessary. This position is crucial for supporting the attorneys in their daily operations and ensuring that the firm runs efficiently.

Responsibilities
