This includes editing and proofreading legal documents, maintaining the attorney's calendar by scheduling conferences, depositions, and meetings, and organizing all legal documents to ensure they are current and properly filed. The Legal Assistant will also be tasked with ensuring that all court documents are prepared and filed before deadlines, managing communications by answering emails and phone calls, and conducting research to authenticate important case information. Furthermore, the preparation of legal documents such as appeals, motions, and petitions will be a key responsibility of this position.
