Join our dynamic and fast-paced personal injury law firm, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Legal Assistant to become an integral part of our team. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment, are ready to handle a substantial caseload, and have a knack for thinking outside the box. Please keep in mind; this is an entry-level IN-PERSON legal assistant position with no remote ability. As a Legal Assistant, you will assist attorneys with case preparation, including document management, filing, and drafting correspondence. You will conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases, communicate with clients, witnesses, and other involved parties to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions. Maintaining and organizing case files is crucial, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible. Additionally, you will perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing calendars, and handling mail. Collaboration with the legal team to develop strategies and solutions for complex cases is also a key part of this role. You will have the opportunity to reduce medical bills to maximize clients' net and negotiate with health insurance providers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a legal setting or personal injury law is a plus but not required.
