About the position

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a dynamic Legal Assistant to assist the team at a growing law firm client in Cleveland, OH! The Legal Assistant will work on all aspects of estate planning, and the role will include significant daily client contact. The position will be onsite, 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday in Cleveland. This role is crucial in ensuring that the estate planning process runs smoothly and efficiently, providing essential support to attorneys and clients alike. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing and organizing documents for client meetings, communicating with clients to gather information and provide updates, and maintaining attorneys' calendars and scheduling. Additionally, the Legal Assistant will coordinate client meetings, answer client inquiries via phone or email, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws in all estate planning procedures. Keeping organized and up-to-date client files is essential, as is tracking deadlines and important dates. The Legal Assistant will also assist attorneys in the administration of trusts and estates, gather and organize necessary documents, coordinate with financial institutions and beneficiaries regarding the probate process, and prepare billing statements while managing time entries for estate planning matters.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or paralegal certification preferred.
