About the position

Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Naperville, IL. As a certified minority-owned law firm with over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on our compassionate approach and diverse mix of attorneys. The Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting various departments, including Foreclosure, Payoff, Reinstatement, Bankruptcy, and Office Services. Depending on your experience and prior knowledge, we will place you within a department that will maximize your productivity and potential for growth within the firm. In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of legal documents, which may include complaints, judgments, affidavits, motions, and pleadings. You will also schedule hearings and mediations, e-file in various portals, and monitor compliance with client directives using client systems. Your role will involve entering information into multiple case management systems and creating documents utilizing forms and templates. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for clients and will answer phone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties. We are looking for candidates who possess excellent data entry skills and have the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. While previous experience is helpful, it is not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Responsibilities
