About the position

Join our team as a Legal Assistant specializing in Insurance Defense, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our law offices. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that are essential to the success of our legal team. Your primary duties will include preparing legal documents and correspondences, such as motions and pleadings, which are vital for the progression of our cases. You will also manage attorney calendars, schedule examinations for defense experts, and communicate with clients regarding important case details. Your ability to handle these tasks efficiently will contribute significantly to our overall effectiveness in serving our clients. In addition to document preparation, you will maintain organized files and handle incoming phone calls, ensuring that all communications are managed professionally. While experience with an electronic case management system is preferred, it is not mandatory. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in managing multiple responsibilities and supporting a large group of professionals. This role requires a high level of confidentiality and the ability to work independently while being an integral part of our team. We are looking for candidates who have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of prior legal work experience in a business or legal environment. If you have experience in insurance defense or personal injury law, that would be a significant advantage. Responsibilities
