About the position

The Legal Assistant - Intermediate position at Robert Half involves reviewing and extracting data from legal agreements related to credit facilities across various jurisdictions, including the US, UK, and Europe. This role is designed for individuals with a strong background in legal documentation and data management, offering a long-term contract opportunity in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and identify relevant data from legal agreements for credit facilities
  • Extract and submit data for loan applications
  • Maintain and ensure the quality of data from legal agreements
  • Familiarize with various jurisdictions, primarily US, UK, and Europe, for reviewing legal agreements
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various lending products, specifically Cap Calls
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and documentation
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with team and clients
  • Conduct competitor analysis as needed
  • Validate data quality from legal agreements
  • Collaborate with suppliers for efficient loan administration
  • Train on and use specific templates for documenting data from legal agreements.

Requirements

  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential
  • Experience in training team members and new employees
  • Capable of conducting detailed reviews of complex legal documents
  • Familiarity with the 'About Time' software or similar time management tools
  • Background in finance, with an understanding of lending products and credit facilities
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and managing supplier relationships
  • Familiarity with loan administration procedures and practices
  • Ability to work with video conferencing tools for remote meetings and presentations
  • Proficient in handling legal documentation, including preparation, review, and submission
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with a team
  • Experience in competitor analysis, with the ability to track market trends and developments
  • Proficiency in using templates for document creation and report generation
  • Experience in creating and executing validation plans
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting legal agreements and other formal documents
  • Understanding of data quality standards and practices
  • Comfortable conducting phone screens with clients or potential hires
  • Knowledge of various jurisdictions and their respective legal requirements
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing legal agreements, including contracts and terms of service
  • Knowledge of credit facility management and lending products is a plus
