The Legal Assistant/Liability Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the attorneys and case managers by ensuring that clients receive superior service throughout the claims process. As a Legal Assistant/Liability Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring the progression of each claim while adhering to HIPAA laws and maintaining the privacy of all cases and clients. You will gather information from insurance adjusters, manage documentation, and ensure that all relevant materials are saved and filed appropriately in SharePoint. Your role will also involve continuous updates to case management software, drafting standard documentation, and creating and sending Letters of Representation. This position requires a strong commitment to client service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information effectively. Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring the progression of each claim

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year sales or customer service experience
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to consistently deliver results with a sense of urgency
  • Outstanding time management and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain and manage highly sensitive information
